Individual Clinical Supervision

Individual therapy supervision is a space to receive new knowledge, expertise, support, and growth.

Therapy for grief and loss as well as mild anxiety and low mood is one of the most sought-after forms of therapy, therefore you must be highly qualified to provide the necessary care for your patients. Dr. Jessica Thomas is an AAMFT-trained and certified clinical supervisor offering post-graduate clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional consultation to MFTs and LPCs.

Clinical supervision is a space to receive new knowledge, expertise, support and growth. As a clinical supervisor, Jessica focuses on the integration of systems theory, reflective practices, and transpersonal philosophy. As a supervisee, you will discover how these three components work synergistically to create the transformative therapeutic process. Furthermore, by promoting self-care, decreasing burnout, and inspiring personal growth, supervision will shape you as a clinician.

Please note: Requests for supervision will be accommodated when possible with Dr. Jessica’s availability.

Group Clinical Supervision

Group clinical supervision offers a peer support network and widens your professional support network as a supervisee.

Participating in group clinical supervision allows you to receive a wider range of feedback and a broader perspective from your peers. Specifically for MFTs and LPCs, we not only review clinical cases but also discuss and support building your private practice, how to organize your practice, and how to effectively operate it via administration and organization.

Kind Words

The Process

You need to have a CV and three references to apply for supervision.

Then, you will meet with Dr. Jessia for an initial Zoom meeting. If you both determine it’s a good fit, you will sign a mutual agreement. Depending on the number of hours to be completed, supervision will have weekly virtual sessions. There are a few in-person meetings per year which will be announced by Dr. Jessica accordingly. Dr. Jessica will sign all necessary documentation covering that period of supervision that is required for licensure.

Kindly inform Dr. Jessica of your desired license (MFT or LPC) and in which state, Kansas or Oregon. This enables us to collaborate with you effectively, ensuring your clinical experience meets all the requirements.

Group Supervision towards licensure: $100 per hour

Individual Supervision toward licensure:  $175 per hour
