About Dr. Jessica Thomas

Providing online therapy for loss, grief, death and life transitions. 

Dr. Jessica Thomas holds an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy and a PhD in Transpersonal Psychology. She has spent over a decade working as a therapist with individual, couples and groups. Her approach integrates Eastern philosophy and Western psychology– which deeply considers how we are interconnected. She believes in the value of psychoeducation in building a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. In working with Dr. Thomas, you will learn to harness curiosity and self-compassion while cultivating wisdom and healing.
 
As a professor at Lewis & Clark College and CIIS, she has created coursework and taught on death and grief, psycho-spiritual development and counseling, research methods, and clinical supervision. Her research, Mindful Photography and its Implications in End-of-Life Caregiving focused on creative expression and the experience of anticipatory loss.
